The Timor-Leste Solidarity Medal is a foreign military honour conferred by the Government of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste. It acknowledges the contribution of foreign military and civilian personnel who supported the nation through its journey to stability, peace, and development. Established in 2009 by the Timorese Government, the award serves as a lasting expression of thanks to those who helped secure and uphold peace following Timor-Leste's struggle for independence.
Following an offer from His Excellency José Ramos-Horta, President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, the Australian Government has accepted an extended eligibility framework.
