This esteemed medal is conferred upon those who have completed a minimum of 10 years of eligible service and is a recognition by the Chief Commissioner of the Victoria Police Force.
A minimum of 10 years of diligent and ethical service as an employee in the Victoria Police Force is required for the initial medal.
A clasp is awarded for each additional 5-year period of eligible service. The clasp indicates the total number of years of service and will be affixed to the existing medal.
