QLD Diligent and Ethical Service Medal

The Diligent and Ethical Service Medal, which is no longer conferred, was a distinguished award established to recognise the dedicated service of uniformed Fire Officers and Fire Communications Dispatch Officers. This esteemed medal was awarded to those who had completed a minimum of 10 years of service.

Eligibility for this now-discontinued medal included the following criteria:

• A minimum of 10 years of service as a uniformed Fire Officer or Fire Communications Dispatch Officer was required.
• For each additional 10-year period of service, a clasp was awarded to be affixed to the existing medal.
